Women’s Golf Opens 2021 Fall Season at William & Mary Invitational

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Marshall women's golf team tees off the 2021 fall season at the William & Mary Invitational, Sept. 12-13, at the Kingsmill Resort River Course. The teams will play two rounds on Sunday (Sept. 12) and one round on Monday (Sept. 13).
The course is a par 72 with total yardage of 6,219. Sunday begins with a shotgun start at 8:45 a.m., and the teams will play two rounds. The final round on Monday will begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
Competing for the Herd will be fifth-year senior Stormy Randazzo, seniors Torren Kalaskey and Jackie Schmidt, sophomore Hanna Shrout and freshman Emily McLatchey.
Marshall is one of 15 teams playing in the tournament. The other programs are host William & Mary, Boston University, Delaware State, Florida Atlantic, Howard, James Madison, Longwood, Navy, Old Dominion, Princeton, Radford, Richmond, Towson and UNC Wilmington.
Randazzo is back for her fifth season with the Herd and will be competing in her 33rd event during her career. Kalaskey stepped up last season playing in all five of Marshall's competitions. Schmidt is looking to bounce back after only playing in two events last year dealing with an injury. Shrout played in one tournament during the shortened season of her freshman campaign. McLatchey will be making her collegiate debut.
