No. 4 Herd Men’s Soccer Prepares for Home Contest against ODU

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The No. 4 Marshall University men's soccer team (7-1-2, 2-0-2 Sun Belt) returns to Hoops Family Field as it plays host to the Old Dominion Monarchs (4-4-2, 1-1-1 Sun Belt) on Saturday night at 7:15 p.m.

The Herd captured a 3-1 road win at South Carolina on Saturday.
Redshirt senior Milo Yosef tallied a pair of goals including the game winner, his fourth of the season as he ranks third in the nation. It was the German forward's second multi-goal game of the season and he now has seven goals this year, tied for second most in the conference.
Freshman Matthew Bell leads the SBC with eight goals of this season, ranking 12th in the nation. The Jamaican forward also has a conference best 16 points.
Marshall's +18 goal differential is the second best in the conference and 15th in NCAA Division I men's soccer. The team's .705 goals against average leads the SBC.
Graduate student goalkeeper Oliver Semmle's .731 goals against is second in the Sun Belt as his three shutouts rank second.
Junior Adam Aoumaich ranks second in the conference with six assists this season, 10th in NCAA Division I men's soccer.
Marshall has been in the top 25 rankings every week since Oct. 15, 2019.

The Monarchs are coming off a 4-0 home defeat to the West Virginia Mountaineers on Saturday.
Goalkeeper Michael Startham leads the Sun Belt in save percentage at .800 and makes a conference-best 4.00 saves per game.
Tristan Jenkins has a team-best five goals this year.
SERIES HISTORY
The all-time series between the two programs ties at 5-5-1. Marshall took the last season's meeting 1-0 in Norfolk, Virginia.
