HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The No. 6 Marshall University men's soccer team (6-1-2, 1-0-2 Sun Belt) travels back to the Palmetto State for a matchup against the South Carolina Gamecocks (5-3-2, 1-0-1 Sun Belt) on Saturday at 7 p.m. in Columbia, South Carolina.

HAVE YOU HEARD?
The Herd defeated the Robert Morris Colonials 3-1 on Tuesday night at Hoops Family Field.
Sophomore Taimu Okiyoshi recorded a multi-point game with his first goal and assist of the season.
Freshman Matthew Bell tallied his SBC leading eighth goal of the season, ranking eighth in the nation. The Jamaican forward also has a conference best 16 points.
Senior Joao Souza scored his fourth goal of the season in the victory.
Marshall's +16 goal differential is the best in the conference and 11th in NCAA Division I men's soccer.
Redshirt senior Milo Yosef has three-game winning goals this season to rank first in the Sun Belt and sixth nationally.
Graduate student goalkeeper Oliver Semmle's .672 goals against is second in the SBC as his three shutouts rank second.
Junior Adam Aoumaich leads the Sun Belt with six assists this season, 10th in NCAA Division I men's soccer.
Marshall has been in the top 25 rankings every week since Oct. 15, 2019.
SCOUTING SOUTH CAROLINA
In Sun Belt play, the Gamecocks defeated Georgia Southern 1-0 and drew 0-0 with West Virginia.
Adam Luckhurst has a team-best three goals and eight points during the season.
Ben Alexander has started all 10 games in goal for South Carolina making 34 saves and allowing 12 goals.
SERIES HISTORY
The Herd leads the all-time series 12-5-1 with Marshall taking last season's match 4-0 on October 30, 2021.
