Second consecutive road game in Virginia for Thundering Herd
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall Thundering Herd football team travels to Norfolk, Virginia to face the Old Dominion Monarchs Saturday at S.B. Ballard Stadium. Kickoff is at 2:00 p.m. on ESPN+.

PRE-GAME NOTES
Marshall's record is 4-4 (1-3 Sun Belt) entering Saturday's contest. Freshman quarterback Cam Fancher is coming off his best game passing, throwing for 320 yards, completing 19 passes.
Redshirt-junior wide receiver Corey Gammage set a new career-high with 187 yards receiving last Saturday against Coastal Carolina. The Delray Beach, Florida native has caught four touchdowns this season.
Junior Eli Neal finished with 14 tackles last week against the Chanticleers, a new career-high.

ABOUT OLD DOMINION
The Monarchs are led by Ricky Rahne, who is entering his third season as head coach of ODU, and second season on the field with the team not playing during the 2020 season.
Leading the Monarchs defensively is Jason Henderson, who broke a school record for most tackles in a season last week. The sophomore has 129 tackles through eight games this year, and has been named a semifinalist for the Bednarik Award, given to the most Outstanding Defensive Player in the country.

Marshall leads the all-time series 6-1. The teams first met in 2014, and played every year as C-USA foes, with the exception of 2020.
