Merritt takes third in discus
RESULTS
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Marshall track and field team wrapped up its competition at the Hilltopper Relays in Bowling Green on Saturday.

The meet was held at the Charles Ruter Track.
Â
Rebecca Merritt paced the Thundering Herd in the discus with a third-place finish, heaving it 43.44 meters on her second attempt.
Â
Chloe Cahill recorded an eighth-place mark in the javelin, a throw of 32.35 meters that also came on her second attempt.
Â
Tori Dotson earned a 16th-place finish in the 800 meters in a time of 2:26.35.
Â
Meagan Ward (4:57.01) and Erykah Christopher (4:57.66) placed 18th and 19th, respectively, in the 1500 meters.
Â
Marshall is back in action next Friday and Saturday at the South Florida Invite in Tampa.
