Event gets underway at 9 a.m.
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Marshall's Track and Field team is back in action Saturday at the UofSC Open, an event that will be held at the Sheila and Morris Cregger Track in Columbia.

Admission is free.

The field events will start at 9 a.m. with the pole vault and hammer throw, while the 3,000 meters will kick off track action at 10:05 a.m.

The 4 x 400 relay will end the evening at 6 p.m.

The Thundering Herd is coming off last weekend's visit to the JMU Invitational, where it set numerous records and lifetime-bests en route to four individual victories.
