Football Contest at Bowling Green to be Broadcast on NFL Network

Game is scheduled for Sept. 17
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University football team's contest scheduled for Saturday, September 17 at Bowling Green will be broadcast on the NFL Network beginning at 5 p.m., as announced by the Sun Belt Conference in collaboration with ESPN on Monday.
The non-conference matchup will be the 30th all-time meeting between the programs, with the Thundering Herd having won five of the past eight dating back to 1997.
The Herd is set to open the season at Joan C. Edwards stadium on Saturday, September 3 at 3:30 p.m. against Norfolk State. It will be broadcast on ESPN .
Marshall also has its contest against Louisiana on Wednesday, October 12 at 7:30 p.m. scheduled for a nationwide ESPN broadcast.
