No. 8 Marshall Men’s Soccer Welcomes Pacific to Huntington

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The No. 8 Marshall University men's soccer team (3-1-0) is set to host the Pacific Tigers on Sunday afternoon at Hoops Family Field.

HAVE YOU HEARD?
The Herd captured a 3-1 victory on Wednesday night at Cleveland State after tallying three-unanswered goals.
Redshirt senior forward Milo Yosef and freshman forward Matthew Bell each recorded their fourth goal of the season and are tied for the team lead. The pair are tied with each other for the SBC lead and tied for seventh in the NCAA.
Senior midfielder Joao Souza also had a goal in the contest, his second of the season, on a cross from Yosef.
Yosef's nine points sit atop the Sun Belt leaderboard and rank eighth in the country.
Graduate students Ibrahima Diop and Vinicius Fernandes along with junior Adam Aoumaich each have two assists this season, tied for second most in the SBC.
MU is leading the conference in scoring offense (2.50 goals per game), total goals (10) and corner kicks per game (7.75).
Marshall is coming off its third-straight season playing in the NCAA Tournament and has been in the top 25 rankings every week since Oct. 15, 2019.
SCOUTING PACIFIC
The Tigers are 1-3-1 this season. They are winless in their last three matches and are coming off a 1-0 defeat at No. 25 Xavier.
Derrick Roque is leading the West Coast Conference and sits in fourth nationally with an assist per game.
Ryan Herr has a team-best three goals this season, tied for the WCC lead.

This will be the first meeting in men's soccer between the Tigers and Thundering Herd.
