HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall's Men's Golf team is headed north in the Mountain State to Pete Dye Golf Club in Bridgeport, West Virginia, to take part in the Mountaineer Invitational, hosted by West Virginia University.
Marshall's contingent of golfers includes Tyler Jones, Ryan Bilby, Christian Boyd, Joseph Kalaskey and Andrew Wyss.
Marshall is one of 13 teams taking part in the event.
Action starts on Monday with 36 holes of golf, starting at 8:30 a.m. off Holes No. 1 and 10. The final round of the 2023 Mountaineer Invitational will start at 9 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
The Mountaineer Invitational began in 2015 and was previously played in October, but has since moved to its permanent home in the spring rotation in April. This week's tournament will be the first time it has been played in spring.
