MU T&F Sets Three School Records, Wins Two Events at Jesse Owens Classic

Herd set for final regular season meet next week
COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Marshall track and field team set three school records and won two individual events over the weekend at the Jesse Owens Classic at Ohio State University.
Sydney Smith and Tyra Thomas won their events in the 3000 steeplechase and the 400 meter hurdles respectively.
The school records came from Smith in the steeplechase with her 10:48.59. Macie Majoy set an outdoor Pole Vault record with a 4.08 meter vault, and Abby Herring had a successful return in the 5k, racing a record 17:02.49.
