Marshall Women's Golf Finishes 13th at Colonel Classic

Bowes' 75 lead Thundering Herd efforts on final day
RICHMOND, Ky. – Marshall's women's golf team wrapped up play at the Colonel Classic on Tuesday.
The Thundering Herd finished 13th in the event, which was hosted by Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky.
Marshall's Kylie Bowes led the Thundering Herd efforts on the final day with a 3-over 75. The effort included a pair of birdies on the par-3 5th hole and the par-5 9th hole.
Austin Peay, who led after day one of the event, held off a strong charge from Illinois State to win the team event by two strokes.
Marshall's Olivia Kochan was the Thundering Herd's top finisher, tying for 39th at 12-over.
Marshall's next event will come at the Sun Belt Championships from April 16-18.
