HUNTINGTON, W.Va – In a contest which featured a pair of unbeaten slides, it was Liberty (7-0) who came away with a 2-0 win at Hoops Family Field Sunday.

It was a strong performance from Marshall (5-1-1) goalkeeper Alexis Wolgemuth, who made a season-best 11 saves. The two-time 2023 Sun Belt Conference Women's Defensive Player of the Week has made 36 saves thus far.

The Flames - fresh off a win over West Virginia a week ago - scored goals in the 27th and 80th minutes to pick up a road victory. The preseason Conference USA favorites pitched its fourth shutout of the year.
