Marshall Women’s Soccer Hosts ULM Sunday For SBC Opener; Senior Day

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall women's soccer team (5-1-1) hosts ULM (5-1-2) in the Sun Belt Conference opener for both sides. The team will celebrate six seniors - Regina Fiabema, Olivia Gandee, Campbell George, Abi Hugh, Regan Meyer, and Hannah Telleysh - prior to the match, which kicks off at noon eastern.

- Marshall enters league play with a 5-1-1 record, its best start through seven matches since 2015.
- The Herd's Alexis Wolgemuth enters SBC competition as the two-time SBC Defensive Player of the Week. Her five shutouts are tied atop the league mark.

ABOUT THE WARHAWKS
- ULM is managed by first-year head coach Will Roberts. Roberts played collegiately at the University of Charleston, winning a Division II national championship in 2017.
- The Warhawks are 5-1-2 entering Conference play. Inge Konst leads the team with five goals and two assists.
- In the Sun Belt Conference Preseason Poll, ULM was picked tied for 11th.
