HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall Thundering Herd women's soccer team faces the last unbeaten team in the Sun Belt Conference, the South Alabama Jaguars. Kickoff from Hoops Family Field is set for noon on Sunday.

PRE-MATCH NOTES
- Marshall and South Alabama played in a memorable double overtime contest in the SBC Tournament Quarterfinals in 2022. The Jaguars came away with a 3-1 win in the thriller.
- The Herd has made a home at Hoops Family Field in 2023, MU has won four matches at home this season. The team is pushing an initiative ahead of its home game on Oct. 5, "Push 2K Together" to break an attendance record of 1,433.
- Junior Cassidy Bell leads the team with 714 minutes played.

ABOUT THE JAGUARS
- South Alabama were picked in a tie with JMU to win the Sun Belt Conference Preseason Poll
- Forward Jasmine Greene was the SBC Preseason Offensive Player of the Year. The Jags had four players named to the All-Preseason Team.
- USA and Greene have lived up to the billing, with South Alabama entering as the final unbeaten team overall in the conference. Greene has tallied five goals on the season, which is actually second on the team, forward Gabby Hollar has seven.
