Herd Cross Country Races at Bowling Green In Final Meet Before SBC Championships

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University cross country teams travel to Bowling Green State University in Ohio for the Falcon Invitational on Friday, Oct. 18. The meet will be the final race opportunity for the Herd prior to the Sun Belt Cross Country Championships next month in Foley, Ala.
The women race in a 6K Friday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. The men's 8K race will follow at 5:10.

"We're really excited for this meet," Head Cross Country Coach Caleb Bowen said. "It is a much smaller meet than our last one in Louisville and it is a good simulation for the Conference Championships, about the same amount of teams will be competing at this meet as in the Championships. We will be competing against some really good teams in the MAC, as well as Michigan State and some others. It will be a really good opportunity for us to 'pack run' and climb the ladder as we go through the race."
