HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – For its final road match of the season, Marshall (3-6-4, 1-3-3 SBC) travels to ODU (9-4-2, 4-1-2 SBC) on Wednesday at 6 p.m. from Norfolk.

PRE-MATCH NOTES
- Marshall enters the week in need of points to qualify for the 2024 SBC Championship. With three matches remaining, the Herd is two points shy of ULM who currently occupy the eighth and final spot.
- The Herd's spread-out attack offensively will be tested against the ODU defense. Junior Bailey Fisher leads the team with 10 points and is 10th in the league with her four assists.
- Goalkeeper Alexis Wolgemuth remains in the top-10 in all major statistical goalkeeping categories, including saves per game (3.69).
ABOUT THE MONARCHS
- ODU is currently tied for second in the Sun Belt Conference, sitting comfortably with 14 points. The Monarchs are the defending tournament champions.
- The ODU attack starts with Rhea Kijowski who is third in the league with nine goals. Defensively, Emily Bradek leads the league with 31 saves and a 0.71 goals against average.
- Marshall leads the all-time series, 5-3-1. The Herd is seeking its first win in Norfolk.
