HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall women's soccer (3-6-5, 1-3-4 SBC) starts a two-match homestand to close the regular season against JMU (9-3-3, 7-0-1 SBC) Sunday. Kickoff from Hoops Family Field is at 1 p.m.

PRE-MATCH NOTES
- With two matches remaining, Marshall needs results to qualify for the postseason. The Herd sits at seven points, with the eighth and final spot, Georgia State at 10 points. For the SBC standings, view HERE.
- Junior Alexis Wolgemuth made nine saves to secure a goalless draw for the Herd against ODU Wednesday. It was the most stops Wolgemuth has made in a Sun Belt contest.
- Wolgemuth made six saves, her previous high mark in a league match the last occasion JMU played in Huntington in 2022. The Herd and Dukes drew 1-1 that evening.
- James Madison is 9-3-3 overall and 7-0-1 in league play. The Dukes have already clinched the SBC regular season title with 22 conference points.
- Freshman Ginny Lackey leads the team - and conference - in points (26) and goals (11).
- JMU leads the all-time series, 3-1-1. The Herd and Dukes are 1-1-1 against each other in Huntington all-time.
