HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall women's soccer (3-7-5, 1-4-4 SBC) closes its 2024 campaign against Louisiana (6-5-8, 1-4-4 SBC). Kickoff from Hoops Family Field is at 7 p.m. Thursday evening.

PRE-MATCH NOTES
- Marshall enters Thursday's finale having scored three more conference goals than last season. The Herd has netted a goal in all but one home match this season.
- Bailey Fisher and Ebony Leckey lead the Herd with three goals apiece this season. With Fisher's four assists, she leads the team with 10 points.
- Junior Alexis Wolgemuth had two saves in the team's battle with JMU Sunday. Her 59 saves are a career-high.
- With the SBC Championship including eight teams this season as opposed to 10, Thursday will be the Herd's season finale. Marshall has improved its league point total from six last season. The full standings can be viewed, HERE.
ABOUT THE RAGIN' CAJUNS
- Louisiana is an identical 1-4-4 in league play, making Thursday the final contest of 2024 for the Ragin' Cajuns.
- UL is led offensively by Adeline Nemeth and Lucy Ortiz, who have four goals each.
- The Cajuns have five wins at home this season, but just one win away from Lafayette.
- Thursday will be just the second meeting between the Herd and Cajuns. Louisiana won by a 1-0 margin in the season finale last year.
