HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The eighth-ranked and second-seeded Marshall University Men's Soccer team (10-1-6) prepares for its 2024 Sun Belt Conference Tournament Semifinal matchup against the sixth-seeded James Madison Dukes (8-4-6). Wednesday night's first kick is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Hoops Family Field.
The two sides played to a 2-2 draw in Huntington during the regular season on October 5.

- The Herd opened up the SBC Tournament with a 3-2 win over the Old Dominion Monarchs, marking the team's second straight season advancing to the SBC Semifinals.
- MU took a 2-1 lead with a penalty kick from Pablo Simon and a tally from Joao Roberto.
- Rai Pinto registered the third goal of the contest for Marshall for the eventually game-winner and his fourth of the season.
- Herd goalkeeper Dan Rose picked up his third win of the season with three saves in the victory.

- The Dukes goals came on tallies from Evan Southern on his second of the season, both coming at Hoops Family Field, and Kevin Larsson's fifth of the year.
- SBC Goalkeeper of the Year Sebastian Conlon made four saves as he picked up his eighth victory in 2024.
