HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall's women's basketball team (2-4) returns to the Cam Henderson Center Sunday, Dec. 1 for a 1 p.m. tip against the Salem Tigers (0-7).

Coach Juli Fulks
- On Apr. 12, 2024, Coach Juli Fulks became the ninth head coach in the history of the Herd.
- Fulks - the 2024 WBCA DIII Coach of the Year - joins Marshall with 400 career victories in 20 seasons, winning the 2023 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball National Championship.
PRE-GAME NOTES
- Senior guard Aislynn Hayes scored a career-high 31 points in the team's overtime victory over Tulsa to close the State Farm WBCA Showcase in Florida. The trip ended with a Sunday trip to Disney World and Hayes being named the SBC Player of the Week. She leads the conference with 18.5 PPG.
- Also breaking out in Florida was graduate guard Madison Kellione. She scored 20 points including eight in the overtime period in the win over Tulsa.
- The win over Tulsa broke several early-season trends for the Herd. Marshall won its first game decided by five points or less. MU also got the victory despite losing the rebounding and points in the paint battle.
- The Herd went 4-1 in the month of December last season.
- Marshall leads Salem all-time, 11-0. The Herd defeated Salem, 115-56 on Dec. 11 of last season.

ABOUT SALEM
- Salem is 0-7 as a DII Independent. Sunday's game will be an exhibition contest for the Tigers.
- Junior guard Carine Pinkney leads the team with 17.1 PPG and 1.7 assists per game.
- Head Coach Nikayla Edgell is in her second season with Salem. She previously served as an assistant with the Tigers as well as spending a season with Alderson Broaddus.
