Marshall Volleyball Head Coach Ari Aganus Resigns

Aganus spent six seasons leading the Thundering Herd program

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Volleyball head coach Ari Aganus has resigned as the leader of the Thundering Herd program, it was announced on Friday.

Aganus led Marshall Volleyball for six seasons, compiling a 75-84 overall record in her time with the Herd. That mark included a 13-35 record in the last three seasons as a member of the Sun Belt Conference and a 22-16 record during her first three seasons in which the Herd played in Conference USA.

"We want to thank Coach Aganus for her six years leading our volleyball program and we wish her the best in her future endeavors," said Christian Spears, Marshall Director of Athletics. "The student-athletes' commitment to success in the classroom, supporting other Marshall programs and supporting the Huntington community have showcased what Marshall Athletics is truly about. We will begin our search for a new volleyball coach immediately."

Marshall Volleyball finished the 2024 season at 15-14 overall and 6-10 in the Sun Belt Conference standings.
