Track and Field Program Earns USTFCCCA All-Academic Status

Herring, Mastin, Merritt named All-Academic Athletes
NEW ORLEANS -The All-Academic Teams for the 2024 NCAA DI Track and Field seasons were announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches this week, with both the Marshall men's and women's program being honored as team recipients.
Additionally, three individuals - Abby Herring, Kylee Mastin, and Rebecca Merritt - were honored as All-Academic Athletes.
"I am proud of both our men's and women's teams for their success in the classroom," said Director of Track and Field Keith Roberts. "As a program we strive for excellence academically and athletically. They are a great group and have consistently shown that throughout the season. I am also proud of the individuals (Abby Herring, Rebeca Merritt, and Kylee Mastin) who received recognition for USTFCCCA All Academic Athletes!"
For teams to be honored, the cumulative GPA for all student-athletes on the program's "squad list" must be 3.0 or higher.
For individuals to be honored, they must have a minimum of a 3.25 cumulative GPA and compete at the Indoor/Outdoor NCAA Track and Field Championships.
