HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The No. 8 Marshall University Men's Soccer Team is set to host Winthrop on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Hoops Family Field in the team's Fans First Game.
PROMTIONS
Admission is free for Saturday's contest. The Fans First Game will also feature a flag giveaway and a postgame autograph session.

- The Herd were picked as the Sun Belt Conference preseason favorite on Wednesday in the league's coaches preseason poll.
- Taimu Okiyoshi, Lineker Rodrigues dos Santos and Marco Silva were also named Preseason All-SBC honorees on Wednesday as announced by the conference office.
- First home contest of the fall for Marshall Men's Soccer and last before the start of the regular season.
ABOUT THE EAGLES
- Winthrop is led by eighth-year head coach Daniel Ridenhouer.
- Last season the Eagles finished with a record of 4-11-2.
- Ricardo Ferriera returns as the team's leading scorer after tallying a team-high six goals in 2023.
