Marshall coming off 18-win season in 2023

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Men's Soccer Team was ranked eighth in the 2024 United Soccer Coaches Preseason Poll, as announced by the organization on Tuesday.
"It's great to be picked eighth in the preseason poll, but it's still our goal to be number one at the end of the season," Herd Men's Soccer Head Coach Chris Grassie said.
Marshall is coming off a season that saw the team win a program record 18 games, including a program-best 12 shutouts.
Entering his seventh season in Huntington, Grassie has led the Green and White to five consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances, reaching the third round four times and winning the National Championship in 2020.
