Marshall Men’s Golf Sets Sights On Virtues Intercollegiate

Herd one of 14 teams competing in tournament this week
NASHPORT, Ohio – Marshall Men's Golf heads north to Nashport, Ohio where the team will compete in the Virtues Intercollegiate at Virtues Golf Club, co-hosted by Bowling Green and Miami (Ohio).
The 54-hole event features 14 teams aiming to take home the title at one of the nation's most pristine golf courses. Virtues was recently ranked No. 65 in the Top 100 Public Courses in America by Golf Digest.
"We are really looking forward to this weekend," Marshall Men's Golf coach Matt Grobe said. "The Virtues is an awesome golf course and they do a wonderful job of hosting this event."
Saturday's action features 36 holes of competition that gets underway with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. to kick off the first round. The second round will run subsequently following the completion of the first round.
Sunday's final round is also scheduled for an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
Competing for Marshall this week are Ryan Bilby, J.F. Aber, Clayton Thomas, Cameron Jarvis and Joseph Kalaskey. Tanner Vest will also be competing as an individual.
