Woodburn leads Herd into final event of fall at NCR Country Club
DAYTON, Ohio – Marshall Men's Golf concludes its Fall 2026 season on Monday and Tuesday when the team takes part in the 2026 Dayton Flyer Invitational, hosted by Dayton.
The Thundering Herd is one of 13 teams competing in the event at NCR Country Club's South Course in Kettering, Ohio.
The 54-hole event gets underway on Monday with 36 holes of continuous play, starting with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Tuesday's final round will be a 10 a.m. shotgun start.
Competing in the team portion for Marshall this week are Jackson Woodburn, Jackson Harris, Cael Ropietski, Tanner Vest and Wes Lorish. Sammy Shy will compete as an individual.
Teams competing in the event include Marshall, Dayton, Illinois State, Belmont, Ball State, Oakland, Miami (Ohio), Cleveland State, Ohio, Wright State, DePaul, Butler, St. Thomas (Minn.)
