HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Playing its third game in a week, Marshall women's soccer (1-3-1) hosts Indiana State (4-1-1) Sunday at 1 p.m. from Hoops Family Field at Veterans Memorial Soccer Complex.

PRE-MATCH NOTES
- Marshall enters Sunday looking for more goals. The team is averaging 0.40 goals per game through five matches, while giving up a goal per game in those contests.
- Goalkeeper Alexis Wolgemuth is ranked fifth in the conference with 25 saves. She had a season-high eight stops Thursday evening at Ohio.
- Sunday's match will be the first time Indiana State comes to Huntington. The Herd has twice played in Terre Haute including a 1-1 draw last season.

ABOUT THE SYCAMORES
- Indiana State is 4-1-1, outscoring opponents 19-0 in those four wins. The Sycamores are coming off a 1-1 draw Thursday evening at Bellarmine.
- A trio of ISU forwards have three-plus goals on the season, with senior Mackenzie Kent scoring four goals this season.
- Indiana State was picked eighth in the Missouri Valley Conference Preseason Poll. For perspective, the Herd's opponent a week ago, Belmont was picked seventh in the MVC poll.
