HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall Women's Basketball returns to the road following a four-game homestand. The Herd's (6-14, 1-8 SBC) first game on a three-game road trip is at Coastal Carolina (13-6, 4-5 SBC) Wednesday, Jan. 29 at 6 p.m. from Conway.

Coach Juli Fulks
- On Apr. 12, 2024, Coach Juli Fulks became the ninth head coach in the history of the Herd.
- Fulks - the 2024 WBCA DIII Coach of the Year - joins Marshall with 400 career victories in 20 seasons, winning the 2023 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball National Championship.
PRE-GAME NOTES
- The Herd continues to see impressive production from senior guard Aislynn Hayes. Marshall's Preseason All-SBC First Teamer is averaging 17.4 points per game to lead the conference. Her 331 points this season puts her on pace to set a Top-10 all-time mark in single-season scoring in program history.
- Marshall forced 22 turnovers in each of its two games last week. The team is fifth in the conference with 9.15 steals per contest.
- The Herd is seeking its first true road victory of the season. Marshall did win an overtime contest against Tulsa in Orlando in November.
- Marshall leads the all-time series, 7-3 over Coastal. The Herd swept last year's two meetings.

ABOUT COASTAL CAROLINA
- The Chanticleers are 13-6 and 4-5 in an improved season under third-year leader Kevin Pederson.
- Savannah Brooks is leading the team with 15.3 PPG. She is third in the conference with that mark. Marshall's Hayes and Coastal's Brooks are two of four players in the league entering Wednesday's contest averaging over 15 per game.
