Herd Men’s Soccer to Host Cleveland State in First Round of NCAA Tournament

Kickoff set for 7:15 p.m. on Thursday night at Hoops Family Field

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The No. 12-ranked Marshall Men's Soccer team was selected to its seventh consecutive NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament on Monday. The Herd is set to host Cleveland State in the first round on Thursday with a start time of 7:15 p.m. at Hoops Family Field.

Season-ticket holders can reserve their tickets from now until Tuesday night (November 18) at 9 p.m. Students can reserve tickets beginning at 3 p.m. on Tuesday (Novemeber 18) with tickets going on sale to the general public on Wednesday (November 19) at Noon.
 
MU closed the season in the 2025 Sun Belt Conference Championship on Sunday falling to UCF.
 
Carl Romberg, Joao Alves and Gabriel Stevanato were named to all-tournament team.
 
The Vikings earned their bid by winning the Horizon League Tournament with a 1-0 win in double overtime in the championship match over Purdue Fort Wayne.
 
The winner of Thursday's contest travels to Raleigh, North Carolina, for a matchup against the 15th-seeded NC State Wolfpack on Sunday.
