HUNTINGTON, W.Va.. – The No. 6 seed Marshall Women's Soccer team (8-4-4) faces the No. 3 seed ULM (11-2-4) in the Sun Belt Conference Women's Soccer Championship quarterfinal on Monday, Nov. 3, 2025, at the Foley Sports Tourism Complex. Kickoff is set for noon eastern, 11:00 a.m. central.

COACH RAFA SIMOES
- Head Coach Rafa Simoes is in year two leading Marshall's women's soccer program. The former associate with the Herd men's team is a 2018 graduate of the University of Charleston in West Virginia, where he played for then-head coach Chris Grassie.
- Simoes has led the Herd to its most wins since 2015, most league wins since 2016, and most goals in a season since 2001.

• Marshall enters the Sun Belt quarterfinal as the No. 6 seed following an 8-4-4 regular season. The Herd had four players named to All-Sun Belt Conference Teams - Marcella Alves, Fernanda Dantas, Bailey Fisher (2nd Team) and Kajsa Ekstrom (3rd Team).• Marshall's attack is led by Bailey Fisher (7 goals) and playmaker Fernanda Dantas (11 assists). Dantas' 11 assists are one shy of tying the program's single-season record (Amanda McMahon-2001).
• Goalkeeper Emma Durand has started 14 games with a 1.02 GAA, 30 saves, and six shutouts.
ABOUT ULM
• ULM enters as the 2025 Sun Belt regular season champion and the No. 3 seed at 11-2-4, carrying a 12-match unbeaten streak - the only team without a loss in league play. The Warhawks tied atop the west division standings with South Alabama, who carried the goal differential tiebreaker in west division matches, making the Jags the top seed. ODU is the No. 2 seed as the East Division champions.• Skylar Blaise was named the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year after scoring a league-leading 12 goals.
• Third-year Head Coach Will Roberts was named the League's Coach of the Year.
• ULM leads the brief all-time series 2-0-1. The teams met Sept. 18 in Monroe, a 3-2 ULM win; Monday is the first postseason matchup between the two sides.
