ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. – Marshall Men's Golf is traveling to Sea Palms Resort this week to take part in the 2025 Peoples Championship hosted by Western Carolina University in St. Simons Island, Georgia.
The Herd is one of 20 teams competing in this year's tournament, which gets started on Thursday.
"We're really excited for this tournament," Marshall Men's Golf coach Matt Grobe said. "Western Carolina and Peoples put on a wonderful event. It has been a couple weeks since we last competed and I am excited to see the improvement after a couple weeks of practice."
Action gets underway at Sea Palms Resort on Thursday with all 20 teams taking off in search of a title. There will be 18 holes of play each day on Thursday, Friday and Saturday in the 54-hole event.
Scheduled to compete for Marshall is Ryan Bilby, J.F. Aber, Joseph Kalaskey, Clayton Thomas and Andrew Wyss. Tanner Vest will compete as an individual.
