POINT CLEAR, Ala. – Marshall senior Emily McLatchey maintained her stance in the top-15 at the 2025 Sun Belt Conference Women's Golf Championship after Day Two of action at Lakewood Golf Club on Tuesday.
McLatchey fired a 2-over 74, which put her in 15th place heading into the final day of stroke play on Wednesday.
The senior from Winter Park, Florida, had a tough start to her day, but rallied well over her last 15 holes with three birdies in that stretch to end her round with momentum – the last of those birdies coming on the 328-yard par-4 9th hole, which was her final hole of the day.
McLatchey's 2-over 74 was matched by teammate Olviia Kochan, who led Marshall with three birdies on Tuesday – two of which came over her final six holes of the day.
Kochan birdied her first hole of the day, then was able to cut a couple more strokes after the turn when she birdied Nos. 4 and 6 to end a strong six-hole stretch to end her round.
Marshall wraps up the final round of stroke play on Wednesday morning from the Dogwood Course at Lakewood Golf Club.
