Griffin Miller Named to 2025 Pitcher of the Year Watch List

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall University Baseball sophomore pitcher Griffin Miller was named to the 2025 Pitcher of the Year Watch List, as announced by the College Baseball Hall of Fame on Friday. Miller is one of 54 pitchers named to the list and only one of four from the Sun Belt.

Miller has been having quite the sophomore campaign. The Madison, West Virginia, native tanks third in the SBC with a 2.18 ERA, 32nd in the nation, with a 4-1 record.

In nine starts, the right-handed pitcher has six quality starts with eight of at least 5.0 innings of work with no more than two earned runs allowed in all nine of his outings.

Miller is back on the hill tonight (Friday, April 18) in game two of Marshall's series at No. 21 Coastal Carolina at 6 p.m.
