Five Herd Men’s Golfers Named GCAA All-American Scholars

Marshall is one of 23 Division I teams with at least five golfers honored for 2024-25 academic year
NORMAN, Okla. – Marshall Men's Golf had five student-athletes named as 2024-25 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced on Tuesday.
Marshall representatives include J.F Aber, Cameron Jarvis, Joseph Kalaskey, Clayton Thomas and Andrew Wyss.
"I am so proud of these guys!" Marshall Men's Golf coach Matt Grobe said. "This award is a combination of excellence on the course and in the classroom. It is so exciting to see five of our players earn the distinction of All-American Scholar!"
Marshall was one of only 23 Division I golf programs to feature at least five GCAA All-Americans on its roster.
To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I.
In addition, they must participate in 50 percent of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 in NCAA Division I and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2.
A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.
