Marshall Swimming and Diving Starts Season with Green & White Meet

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Swimming and Diving team opens the season with its annual Green and White Meet on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Frederick A. Fitch Natatorium.

This season's team features 28 student-athletes, including 12 freshmen. Among the returners are Kseniia Luniushina and Lauren McNamara. Luniushina was the 2025 Sun Belt Freshman and Swimmer of the Year. During her freshman season, Luniushina was the SBC Champion in the 100 and 200 Backstroke setting the program record in both events.

McNamara returns to Huntington off a freshman campaign that saw the Flat Rock, Michigan, native set program record in the 200 Butterfly while being the 2025 SBC Champion.
