HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Swimming and Diving Team began 2026 with a 223-187 win over the Duquesne Dukes Friday evening in the Fredrick A. Fitch Natatorium.
The Herd won 15 of the 22 events.
Lauren McNamara swept the Butterfly events taking the 50, 100 and 200 as Elyse Wood captured wins in the 50, 100 and 200 Freestyle. Abby Adams picked up three victories in the 50, 100 and 200 Backstroke.
Molly Warner also swept a trio of events winning the 100, 200 and 400 IM. Isabelle Cameron won the 50 Breaststroke with Mady Akin coming on top in the 100 Breaststroke.
Marshall's final win of the night came in the 200 Medley Relay with Adams, Cameron, McNamara and Wood combining for the win.
In diving, Ella Houk took third on the 1m boards with Ally Humbert finishing third on 3m.
