Marshall Women’s Basketball Continues Season-Long Road Trip at Southern Miss, ULM

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – With Winter Storm Fern altering weekend schedules, Marshall's Women's Basketball team (15-5, 6-2 SBC) will play the second leg of its four-game road trip on consecutive days, starting Thursday night in Hattiesburg against Southern Miss (11-7, 4-3 SBC). Tip from the Reed Green Coliseum is set for 6 p.m. eastern time, 5 p.m. locally.
The Herd will then travel to Monroe, La. for a 3 p.m. eastern, 2 p.m. central tip against the ULM Warhawks (8-9, 3-5 SBC) Friday.

COACH JULI FULKS
- Head Coach Juli Fulks is in year two leading Marshall's Women's Basketball program. Fulks came to the Herd with a prestigious 400 wins while leading Transylvania to the 2022-23 DIII National Championship.
- Fulks and the Herd set a program record with four postseason wins in its run during the 2025 Sun Belt Women's Basketball Championship.
PREGAME NOTES
- After its 10-game winning streak, the Herd has dropped its past two on the road last week. Marshall will look to avoid what would be its first three-game losing streak of the season. MU rallied from a 20-point second half deficit Saturday at Old Dominion before falling in overtime, dropping its bonus period record to 2-1 this season.
- Senior Timaya Lewis-Eutsey scored her 1,000th collegiate point in the Herd's contest last week at JMU. Following her third 30+ point performance of the season Saturday, the VCU transfer ranks second in the league in scoring, averaging 17.1 PPG.
- Senior Leyocha Marigney is 4th in the league with 1.6 blocked shots per contest. She has led or tied the team lead for blocks in 11 games this season.

ABOUT THE GOLDEN EAGLES
- Southern Miss is 11-7 with a 4-3 league record. The Golden Eagles are 9-1 at home this season.
- Head Coach Missy Bilderback is leading the Lady Eagles after the last two seasons with ULM. The team's leading scorer is Jakayla Johnson, a transfer from the Warhawks.
- USM leads the all-time series, 17-13.
ABOUT THE WARHAWKS
- ULM is 8-9 with a 3-5 SBC record. The Warhawks will host JMU on Thursday before meeting the Herd Friday.
- J'Mani Ingram - an App State transfer - leads the team with 12.6 PPG, the only ULM player scoring double digits.
- Marshall leads the all-time series, 3-1 including all three matchups in the Sun Belt Conference era.
