Virginia Tech Cancels Tuesday Baseball Game At Marshall

Thank you to fans for coming to Jack Cook Field in 2026
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Baseball's Tuesday home game with Virginia Tech at Jack Cook Field has been canceled, it was announced on Monday.
The announcement came after Virginia Tech notified Marshall officials that they have elected to opt out of the contract for the contest.
Marshall Athletics thanks fans for their support and for attending games at Jack Cook Field in the 2026 season.
No makeup game has been added to the schedule at this time.
The Herd will be back in action on Thursday in its final Sun Belt series of the regular season at Texas State. First pitch from Irvine-Rasmussen Ballpark is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT.
