Was a four-year letterwinner at Hedgesville High School...Also lettered four years in swimming...Led team to two sectional wins in 2005 and 2006...Named to the All-Area team as a junior and senior...Was a two-time All-Martinsburg Journal Team selection in 2005 and 2006...Named to the All-Tournament Team in 2004, 2005 and 2006 and was named the Unsung Hero in 2004...Was an All-Regional selection in 2006 and All-Herald pick in 2005 and 2006...Was a four-time all-state swimming honoree.

Born on September 5, 1988...Daughter of Craig and Terri Sandford...Has three sisters - Sarah (25), Beth (16) and Amanda (14) - and two brothers - Daniel (24) and Justin (20)...Majoring in athletic training.
