JUNIOR SEASON (2020): Made the next step in his progression as a star on the Thundering Herd defense … Played in all 10 games, starting every one of them … Picked as a Conference USA all-conference first teamer at defensive back … Finished with 39 tackles, 1.5 tackles for a loss, 1.5 sacks, one interception and two forced fumbles … Seven tackles in a win against Top 25 Appalachian State, plus a pivotal interception that halted a Mountaineers’ scoring march just before halftime … Also had three pass breakups vs. App State … Four tackles in a win at WKU … Four tackles and a sack in a win at LATech … Three tackles a half sack in a win against FAU … Eight tackles and two pass breakups in a win against MT … Three tackles vs. Rice … Two pass breakups in the C-USA Championship vs. UAB … Six tackles and three pass breakups in the Camellia Bowl vs. Buffalo … Also pitched in as a punt returner, fielding one punt for a 7-yard return against UMass.
