2020's shortened season was Tucker Linder's first season on the Marshall baseball staff as the Director of Operations. Linder joined the staff after playing three seasons for the Thundering Herd.
In 2019, he was one of two players to start all 57 games and was named to the 2019 Conference USA All-Academic team. He had a 28-game on-base streak and a 22-game hitting streak during the season. Linder had a team-high 25 multi-hit games, including six of three hits.
As a junior in 2018, he appeared in 47 games, starting in 46, batted .287 and had three RBI three times against Florida A&M, Virginia Tech, and Ohio. He appeared in 11 games, starting in six as a sophomore in 2017.
Linder graduated with a Bachelor's degree in communications from Marshall.Â
