2022 (SENIOR): Played and started in 51 of the Herd’s 55 games…accumulated a .254 batting average with 49 hits…scored 27 runs, had 27 RBI, 11 doubles, three triples and three homeruns…Recorded 11 multi-hit games, including a season-high three at Ohio on March 16, where he also had a pair of doubles…scored a season-high three runs at WKU on April 23…stole a pair of bases against Morehead State on May 17…drove in a pair of runs against Florida Atlantic on May 20.
Prior to Marshall: Transferred to Florida Southwestern after two seasons at Eastern Kentucky. During his sophomore year at EKU, he was tied for first in the Ohio Valley Conference for stolen bases. At Florida Southwestern he had 12 home runs, 26 stolen bases, 48 RBIs, and .330 average.
Personal: Birthday is July. 2, 2000. Son of Ricardo & Maria Lucio, has a younger sister named Sofia Giselle Lucio. Played for the West Virginia Black Bears and the California Collegiate League. Has hopes of becoming a strength and conditioning coach once his career is over.
