SOPHOMORE SEASON (2025-26):
Shy competed in seven events for the Herd, finishing with an 80.9 scoring average in his 20 rounds of action. Shy fired a pair of 74s in the Joe Feaganes Invitational to start the year and also had a 2-over 73 in the opening round of the Coach Sykes Individual, hosted by N.C. State.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2024-25):
In his first collegiate year with the Herd, Shy competed in eight rounds with a stroke average of 77.4. Shy made an impact in his first round of his collegiate career, finishing at Even-par 71 in the opening round at the 2024 Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational. He followed that up with a strong 2-over 73 in the 2nd round of the tournament. Also finished T-40 at The Indy at Forest Hills.
