High School: Attended North Gate High School … Four-year Scholar Athlete and Honorable Mention … Bat .321 with 54 hits, 53 runs and 24 RBI … With travel ball team was a member of squad that won PGF Qualifiers in 2017 and 2019 … Names qualifying the first time in 2017 as her favorite moment in athletics, “It was a major milestone in my softball career and I had never experienced anything like it before.” … Former travel ball teammates have gone on to play collegiately at Oregon State, CSU Northridge, Sacramento State, Iowa, Hawaii Hilo, Holy Names University and Azusa Pacific University.
Personal: Born July 26, 2002 … Daughter of James Lee and Teri Schmitz … Has a twin sister, Olivia, who will play softball for Holy Names University in Oakland, Calif. … Chose Marshall because, “I wanted to explore options away from home. When I came here for the first time, I loved the community so much, everyone was so kind to me and I felt very welcomed. I also fell in love with the campus and had great experiences with the coaches.” … Plans to major in health sciences.
