2015-16 (Junior): Compiled five top-10 finishes in the high jump including a 1st place finish in the JMU Invitational.. Competed at the C-USA Outdoor Championships in the high jump, finishing 21st.
2014-15 (Sophomore): Placed fourth in the high jump at the Ohio Cherry Blossom Invitational with a distance of 1.65m... and had a 3rd place finish at the James Madison University Quad.
2013-14 (Freshman): Competed at both the Indoor and Outdoor C-USA Championships... Her indoor personal best in the High Jump was 1.61m (5ft 3in). Her outdoor personal best came at the WKU Hilltopper Relays with a leap of 1.66m (5ft 5.75in).
Prior to Marshall: Ran for Vinton County High School in MacArthur, Ohio where she participated in the high jump event... As a freshman and sophomore, Owings won conference and district championships and was a regional qualifier along with breaking many meet records... As a junior, she placed third at the Arnold Classic indoor meet... Placed sixth at the state indoor meet... Won her conference and district meets... Recorded a third place finish at regionals and qualified for the state tournament... As a senior, she won the Arnold Classic indoor meet... Placed fifth at the indoor state meet... Won conference and district championships... Recorded a fourth place finish at regionals and qualified for state... Broke a 28-year old high jump record for Vinton County High School with a jump of 5'8... Majoring in elementary and special education.
