2012:Number of Meets Participated In/Scheduled: 6/7... Ran a personal best 5k time of 18:20.4 to finish 33rd at the C-USA Championships and help the Marshall ladies to their best-ever finish at the meet... Helped lead her team to a second place finish at the Evansville Invitational with a 7th place 5k time of 19:02.23... Finished in the top-half of the Charlotte Invitational... Was second on the team while finishing in the top-half of the field at the Commodore Classic... Helped Marshall to a top-20 finish at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals with a 6k time of 22:12... C-USA Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll member... Was named Miss Marshall 2012.
2011: Placed 48th out of 194 runners at the Vanderbilt Invitational which led Marshall to a 10th place finish out of 23 teams... Finished 27th out of 257 runners at the Greater Louisville Classic which led Marshall to a 16th place finish out of 32 teams... Finished 34th out of 92 runners at the C-USA Championships with a 5k time of 18:33.2 that was best on the Marshall team and her best for the 2011 season... Placed 84th out of 199 racers at the Mid-Atlantic Regional with a 6k time of 24:09.6 that was best on the team... C-USA Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll.
2010: Led Marshall at the EKU Relays with a two mile time of 12:01... Ran a 5K time of 20:03 at the Old Timers Classic, placing second on the team and 20th overall... Did not run for the remainder of the season and sat out as a medical redshirt.
2009: Placed 21st at the EKU Invitational... Had her best race of the year at the Greensboro Invitational with a 17th place finish... Was 30th at the Furman Invitational... Led the team at the C-USA Championships with a 65th place finish.
Prior to Marshall: Holds the school record at Riverside in the 800m, the 1600m, 3200m, and the 5K... Was a four year state participant in track... Named to the MSAC All-Conference Team in 2008... Was the team MVP in [apos]08.
Personal: Daughter of Nancy and Leslie Thomas...younger sister Lauren attends Liberty University... Majoring in biology.
