2011:Was the only senior on the Marshall women[apos]s cross country team to race during 2011... Placed 128th out of 258 runners at the Greater Louisville Classic with an individual season best 5k time of 19:54.56... Finished 93rd out of 194 runners at the Vanderbilt Invitational... C-USA Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll.
2010: Placed sixth on the team at the SKU Relays with a two-mile time of 12:46... Was 6th on the team at the Old Timers Classic and 44th overall with a time of 21:16... Placed third on the team at the Greater Louisville Classic with a time of 20:14... Ran her fastest 5K time of the season at the C-USA Championship Meet with a time of 19:55.
2009: Placed 37th at the Greensboro Invitational, 51st at the Furman Invitational.
Prior to Marshall: 2007 WV state meet champion in high jump... Most valuable runner for high school cross country team and most valuable distance runner for track... Finished in third place at the OVAC cross country championships.
Personal: Born July 24, 1990... Daughter of Robert and Kimberly Govey.
