2007 Indoor: Competed in Shot Put and Weight Throw...best throw in shot put came at the C-USA Indoor Championships with a distance of 13.09m...finished 4th in the shot put at the Holiday Classic and the Akron Open.
2006 Outdoor: Took third at the Bobcat Invitational in the shot put with her season best toss of 42[apos]04.75'.
2006 Indoor: Finished 11th in the shot put at the Kentucky Invitational with her throw of 42[apos]04'...placed eighth at the C-USA Championship in the event.
2005 Outdoor: Placed first at the EKU Open in shot put with a throw of 11.91m...best hammer throw was 35.92m at the 49er Classic for 18th place...finished the outdoor season with a shot put distance of 12.77m and 18th place.
2004 Indoor: Had an extremely successful season with five top 10 finishes...at the Kentucky Invitational threw 12.71m in the shot put for her best of the season and a ninth place finish...highest finish of the season came at the West Virginia University Holiday Classic with a shot put distance of11.62m for sixth place...best weight throw was 10.33m at the Ohio State Invitational.
Prior to Marshall: Set Hurricane record in the the weight throw with a distance of 41-07.00, distance was also a Gazette Relays record.
Personal: Born July 30, 1986...daughter of Bob and Ruth Blankenship...major is criminal justice.
