2009-10: Tied for first in the high jump with teammate Vanessa Jules at the Virginia Tech Invitational with a clearing height of 5-07 feet...placed third in the high jump at the Marietta Invitational...won the high jump at the EKU Invitational with a height of 5-01 feet...was on the winning 4x100 meter relays team at the Ohio Open...did not participate at C-USA Outdoor Championships due to injury.
2008 Outdoor: Claimed seven top ten finishes...earned first place in the high jump at the EKU Open (5-07.00) and the Green And White Invitational (1.70m)..took second in the 100-meter at Ohio with a mark of 5-04.25...best 400-meter time came at the Virginia Tech Challenge clocking in at 1:00.49.
2008 Indoor: Competed in 200-meter, 400-meter, high jump, long jump and pentathlon...earned third place at the Tiger Invitational in the high jump with a mark of 5-04.25...best 400-meter time came at the Virginia Tech Challenge clocking in at 1:00.49.
Prior to Marshall: Seminole district athlete of the year 2005-07...Virginia AA state chmapion 400m...runner-up in the triple jump.
Personal: Born October 27, 1989...daughter of Jeri Smith...major is pre-dental.
