2010-11: Posted collegiate bests in the 60, 100, 200, and 400 meter events... Had two top-15 finishes in indoor events and ran her 200 meter collegiate best of 26.14 at the Akron Invitational... Set her 400 meter personal best of 59.58 at the Virginia Tech Challenge... Ran as the 3rd leg of the 4x4 relay team that finished 8th at the C-USA Indoor Championships... Had 20 top-15 outdoor finishes... Ran as the 3rd leg of a 4x4 relay team that finished 2nd at the FSU Relays... Finshed 2nd in the Ohio Women[apos]s Team Challenge in the 100 meter with a personal best of 12.57... Was the lead-off leg for the relay teams that set school records at the C-USA Outdoor Championships.
2009-10: Had a personal best time of 25:98 in the 200-meter dash at the Ohio Open...was on the winning 4x100 meter relay team at that same meet with teammates Kristin Smith, Delkira Maybin and Vanessa Jules....placed 5th at the Marietta Invitational in the 55-dash with a time of 7.61.
Prior to Marshall: Member of the 2008 AAA state championship team at Hurricane... Earned all-conference honors as a senior... 2008 runner-up in the 200-meter dash at state championship... Qualified for state all four years.
Personal: Daughter of Patrick and Sharon Carey... Older brother Justin attended Marshall University... Majoring in Business Management.
